CADY ZUCKERMAN

ACTRESS. AUDIOBOOK NARRATOR. TEACHING ARTIST.

I am a lifetime lover of storytelling, the power of language and theater. I was raised in upstate New York during the eighties, when there was not many others who shared my Jewish cultural identity. I wandered through the existential landscape of a young person without a creative home, but found my anchor in the New York City experimental theater scene. I absorbed city life with a voracious hunger and later moved across the country to get an MFA in Acting at CalArts. I am an actress and educator, and have spent several years working with the Actors Gang Prison Project and Education program in Los Angeles.

My family recently relocated to Northern California, where I record audiobooks out of my home studio. I gravitate towards edgier titles, that touch on the often hilarious and sometimes heartbreaking aspects of the human experience.
